Privacy Policy

Celebration Church Fellowship — ccfellowship.org

Effective date: 01/01/2026

Celebration Church (“we,” “us,” or “our”) operates the website located at ccfellowship.org (the “Site”). This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect through the Site, how we use it, and the choices and rights you have regarding it.

This policy is intentionally written to describe only what the Site actually does. It does not include language about advertising networks, analytics trackers, or data sales because we do not currently use them.

1. Information We Collect

Contact and Prayer Request Form

When you use the “Connect” form on our Site to send us a message, ask a question, or submit a prayer request, we collect:

  • Your first and last name
  • Your email address
  • The content of your message

We use this information solely to respond to you. We do not add you to any marketing list because of a form submission, and we do not share this information with any third party except as described in “How We Disclose Information” below.

Online Giving

Our Site includes a link to an online giving page hosted by Mogiv, a third-party giving platform used by churches and nonprofits. When you give online, you are taken to Mogiv’s platform, and Mogiv — not Celebration Church — directly collects your payment and contact information.

Celebration Church never sees or stores your card number, bank account number, or other payment credentials. Mogiv is responsible for the security of that information under applicable payment card industry standards. We do receive giving records from Mogiv (such as donor name, contact information, and gift amount) for our own bookkeeping, donor acknowledgment, and tax-receipt purposes.

Mogiv’s own privacy and data practices are governed by its privacy policy, available at mogiv.com. We encourage you to review it before giving online.

Information Collected Automatically

Our web host and Google Search Console (a free tool that helps us understand how our Site appears in Google search results) may automatically log basic technical information, such as which pages were visited and general traffic patterns. This information is aggregated and is not used to identify you personally. We do not currently use Google Analytics, advertising pixels, or any third-party tracking or remarketing tools on this Site. Embedded YouTube videos may set cookies per YouTube’s own policies.

2. How We Use Information

We use the information described above to:

  • Respond to messages, questions, and prayer requests submitted through our Site
  • Record and acknowledge donations, and issue tax receipts
  • Maintain and improve the Site, and understand general traffic patterns
  • Comply with legal obligations, including those related to charitable giving and tax records

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing or advertising purposes.

3. How We Disclose Information

We may disclose your information:

  • To Mogiv, solely to process online gifts you choose to make
  • To service providers who help us operate the Site (such as our web host), under obligations to keep your information confidential
  • If required by law, such as in response to a valid subpoena or court order
  • To protect the safety, rights, or property of Celebration Church, our congregation, or the public

4. Data Retention and Security

We retain contact form messages and giving records for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy, including recordkeeping required for charitable tax receipts. We use reasonable administrative and technical measures to protect the information we hold, but no method of storage or transmission over the internet is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

5. Your California Privacy Rights

If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended (CCPA/CPRA), gives you certain rights regarding your personal information. Subject to certain exceptions, you have the right to:

  • Know what personal information we have collected about you and how it has been used and disclosed
  • Request that we delete personal information we have collected from you
  • Request that we correct inaccurate personal information
  • Not be discriminated against for exercising any of these rights

We do not sell or share (as those terms are defined under the CCPA/CPRA) your personal information, and we do not use any tools that would constitute such sharing. There is no opt-out link on this Site because there is currently nothing to opt out of.

To exercise any of the rights above, contact us using the information in the “Contact Us” section below. We may ask you to verify your identity before responding to your request.

6. Visitors Outside the United States

Celebration Church is based in California, and our Site is hosted and operated in the United States. If you access our Site from outside the United States, your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States. If you are located in the European Economic Area or United Kingdom, you may have additional rights under the GDPR, including the right to access, correct, delete, or restrict the use of your personal information, and the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority. You can exercise these rights using the contact information below.

7. Children’s Privacy

Our Site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the effective date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
